Our story
We first met on the snowy hills of Ithaca, NY while attending Cornell University, and then each began our careers at Procter & Gamble; Julie in New York and Kate in Boston.

During our time at P&G, we developed a deep understanding of the consumer and targeted brand management strategies. Together we joined P&G’s New Business Development group in the mid 1990s where we discovered our entrepreneurial spirits. In 2001 we formed Provisor Marketing to pursue our passion for new business development and innovation. Over the last 17 years we have worked with our clients to accelerate brand growth in a cost-efficient way—always focused on Small Brand Agility with Big Brand Know-How!
A master innovator with 33+ years of experience in sales and marketing, Julie gets a thrill from crafting unique brand business models from nothing but a blank sheet of paper. She’s a big-picture thinker who thrives in a challenge and excels at bringing companies together to make every opportunity win/win. Julie is a graduate of Cornell University and mom to three bad ass women. She is a recent transplant to Alexandria, Virginia, where she lives with her husband and aussiedoodle Fitz (Provisor’s security detail).
A sales and marketing maven for over 30 years, Kate is Provisor’s guiding force, navigating clients through the nitty-gritty of a project while ensuring that business objectives are met along the way. Kate is a graduate of Cornell University and mom to three Big Ten men. She is a Boston native, currently living in Marblehead, Massachusetts with her husband, enjoying their sailboat boat Smitten (Provisor’s seasonal conference room).
Brenna graduated in 2013 from Cornell University and has been with Provisor since 2014. Brenna has built her professional experience around copywriting, content creation and public relations in the marketing and media industries. Brenna recently completed her MFA at Columbia University. She lives in New York City where she is writing the next great American novel.
